Kenmare Bay Diving center is located at Kilmackillogue harbour, Lauragh on the spectacular Beara Peninsula. The facilities include diving compressor delivering both air and nitrox tank fills, dive gear rinsing and drying area, equipment rental, servicing and repairs of dive gear, drysuit repair clinic and changing room.

We offer diver training courses through PADI, (professional association of diving instructors) the largest diver training organisation in the world. There is also accommodation at Kilmackillogue in the famous "O'Sullivans Harbour Inn". There are both self catering apartments and B&B available, also evening meals and pub grub during the day.

We run boat dives every day from May 1st till the end of September. There are also regular boat night dives each month or by group request. We specialise in taking out complete beginners and offer daily, our three hour try-a-dive program which consists of a short diving theory lesson followed by a boat trip to a lagoon and your first shallow water dive accompanied by your instructor. Just go to the "Try A Dive" section of the web site for full details.

For inexperienced divers and newly qualified divers we have many sheltered, colourful and fun dive sites in the 10 - 15 meter depth range, all within a ten minute boat ride. The scuba refresher course is also a great way to spend a day out diving from the boat with an instructor while brushing up on your diving skills.

Kenmare Bay Diving runs training courses for all levels of diver from beginner to advanced. All our course dives are done from the boat in various dive sites around the stunning waters of Kenmare Bay, which has been one of the few places in Kerry, Ireland to be designated as a special area of conservation. The natural shelter created by the Beara peninsula and the Kerry coast, as well as the numerous islands dotted around Kenmare Bay make the perfect location for all weather diving

Kenmare Bay is also home to many Dolphins and whales during the summer months. We regularly see them and also porpoises, seals and sun fish while traveling to the dive sites, and each season we are lucky enough to have encountered dolphins while underwater on dives, a really magical experience.
